Anybody who uses drugs or alcohol can become an addict. Addiction has no age limit and even teenagers can become addicted. Some people are more susceptible to addiction than others but addiction can strike anybody who uses. It is a gamble and there is no definitive way to tell in advance if you will develop an addiction.

Our eating habits were taught to us by our parents including the quantity of food we eat and quality of food we choose. These lessons were reinforced or changed over the years by friends, family, advertising, grocery stores and restaurants. About two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight, and almost one-third are obese, according to data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The consequences of being overweight such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke, heart disease, and some forms of cancer, make being overweight a virtual epidemic.

Start by breaking down your organizing efforts into areas such as a closet, cabinet or drawer, to make the task easier to manage. Then place yourself in the purge mindset. Commit to purge what has not been used in the past year, does not serve your current needs, or is broken. Use meditation to help; visualize yourself working through the space.

Humans are strange: we don't like to feel our feelings. When we have a difficult emotion, like anger, irritation, grief, anxiety, embarrassment or guilt, we wish it would go away. We resist the feeling and push it away. We "stuff it," literally, into our emotional bodies and our cells. This is not healthy.
