Hatha Yoga Classes Emphasize Mindful Movement

Hatha Yoga teacher Lisa Jackson (RYT 200) is offering breath-focused classes in Palm Bay and Melbourne designed to support strength, flexibility and ease. Known for her warmth, curiosity and light sense of humor, Jackson brings an approachable presence to her classes, encouraging students to explore movement with awareness and self-compassion.

“My path to yoga developed over years of personal practice, offering me grounding and balance both at home and while traveling through South America and Europe,” says Jackson. She initially pursued her 200-hour training to deepen her own understanding of yoga but found genuine joy in sharing the practice with others.

Her classes incorporate gentle, breath-led flows with an emphasis on core engagement and sustainable strength. Sessions begin with calming breathwork to settle the mind and typically end with savasana accompanied by a sound bath to promote relaxation and integration. Acknowledging that every body is different, Jackson welcomes students of all experience levels and regularly offers props such as blocks and straps to support individual needs and abilities.
