What’s Your Hair Saying?

Hair Analysis is a simple, inexpensive laboratory test that uses a small hair sample to determine body mineral levels and toxic metals. It has a proven track record with more than 30 years of clinical research and is EPA approved for detecting the presence of toxic metals.

Hair is used as one of the tissues of choice by the Environmental Protection Agency in determining toxic metal exposure. A 1980 report from the E.P.A. stated that human hair can be effectively used for biological monitoring of the highest priority toxic metals. This report confirmed the findings of other studies in the U.S. and abroad, which concluded that human hair may be a more appropriate tissue than blood or urine for studying community exposure to some trace elements.

Hair Mineral Analysis can reveal mineral imbalances and heavy metal toxicities which are associated with many physical and emotional symptoms. It provides a window into cellular metabolic activity. Conditions which may result or be aggravated by mineral imbalance or toxic metal poisoning: Depression, Headaches, Hair Loss, Hyperactivity, Arthritis, Skin Problems, Weight Gain, Insomnia, Allergies, Fatigue, Immune Dysfunction, Seizures, PMS, Prostate Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, Diabetes, Heart Attacks, Hypertension, Anemia, Hardening of the Arteries, Morning Sickness, Neuromuscular Disease, Osteoporosis, Candidiasis, Asthma, Digestive Disorders, Tooth and Gum Disease, Psychological Disorders, and Emotional Problems.

Have the resulting mineral graph reviewed by holistic health practitioner to judge proper vitamin and supplement dosages. Also, nutritional recommendations can be aimed at holistically balancing the body and gently detoxifying harmful heavy metals.
