The holidays can be hard on teeth. We tend to eat out much more often than usual disrupting our dental health routine. Did you know that bacteria from your mouth can go to your heart and cause damage? It's important to brush and floss so the gums won't bleed moving the bacteria into the bloodstream, eventually reaching the heart. Take your floss with you! Flossing doesn't have to be all that hard. With the new floss picks, flossing can be done anytime and anywhere. Carry them in your car, pocket or purse.
To help your pearly whites look their best for those special events, put a small amount of baking soda in the palm of your hand and mix with enough hydrogen peroxide to form a paste. Brush with this daily to help remove stains and whiten teeth.
