Natural Pet Specialty Shop Offers CBD

Lee De Barriault, owner of Natural Pet Specialty Shop, announces that the store’s pet supplement selection now includes CBD oils, CBD treats and a variety of organic mushrooms.

CBD is derived from the cannabis plant. The plant contains naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes, which interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). It’s involved with physiological processes in the body including appetite, pain sensation, nausea, mood, memory and inflammation. CBD can be used to treat arthritis, seizures, pain, IBD, allergies, anxiety, and glaucoma and used with cancer treatment and for quality of life during hospice care.

“There are new medical discoveries about cannabinoids coming out every day with at least 30 years of documented research conducted on small animals showing its effectiveness for treating many health issues,” states De Barriault.

The shop also carries a full range of grain-free, frozen and freeze-dried raw and canned organic pet foods including: Orijen, Acana, Sojos, Fromm, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, Nourish, Fresh is Best and Identity. They also carry pet toys, treats, accessories, pet supplements, homeopathic and herbal remedies, chemical-free grooming products and natural flea and tick supplies are also available.
