The Conradina Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society presents its 17th Annual Native Plants Tour and first Conservation Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 8 in the Indialantic and Melbourne Beach area. The annual event introduces residents to Florida native landscapes and demonstrates how native plants can thrive with little or no irrigation or fertilizer.

Tour participants can visit native landscapes as well as the Barrier Island Sanctuary. Each $15 tour ticket includes a free native plant and admission to the Conservation Fair. The fair is free and open to the public with nonprofit organizations local artists and event sponsors sharing information about nature and conservation.

Native Butterfly Flowers is among the event sponsors. The West Melbourne native plant nursery grows more than 300 Florida native species and specializes in butterfly plants habitat design and ecological gardening practices.
