Unity of Fort Pierce presents its annual Unity World Day of Prayer Service from 7 to 8 p.m. September 10. The gathering celebrates the transformative power of silence and affirmative prayer through reflection and community connection.

This year’s theme is “Love Is Alive.” The service includes an inspirational message and uplifting music as well as a transformative sound bath designed to encourage peace and spiritual renewal. The featured affirmation is “Love leads me; faith steadies me. Prayer carries me forward.”

“World Day of Prayer offers a meaningful opportunity to pause and remember that love remains present in every circumstance,” says Rev. Janice Cary. “Through music and prayer and shared silence we open ourselves to faith and allow that faith to carry us forward.”

Unity observes World Day of Prayer each September as a time for people to gather in spiritual practice and affirm hope. Participants of all backgrounds are welcome to attend the evening service and experience its message of love and inner strength.
