Aquarian Dreams is offering two September weekend yoga intensives led by New World Wellness owners and registered yoga teachers Nicole Costello and Craig Costello. The courses provide continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance registered teachers while exploring meditation, yoga instruction and adaptive teaching techniques.

The Weekend Yoga & Meditation Intensive  September 4 through 6, blends meditation, Noble Silence and mindful teaching with practical tools for creating more connected classes. Participants explore yoga “sweeteners,” the Bhagavad Gita, upper-extremity anatomy and practice teaching forward bends and backbends while continuing to develop confidence in leading asana. Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance may earn 20 continuing education hours.

The Yoga for Special Conditions and Themed Classes Intensive takes place September 11 through 13. The training focuses on creating safe, adaptive and intentional classes for seniors, athletes and students seeking stress reduction. It also explores seasonal, holiday and chakra-inspired classes along with other creative themes. Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance may earn 30 continuing education hours.
