Kula Yoga Seeks Community Support After Flood Damage
For years, Kula Yoga Studio has served as more than a place to practice yoga, providing a space where community members can heal, connect, breathe and find support. Recently, the studio sustained significant flood damage that affected flooring, walls and other essential parts of the building. While no injuries were reported, the repairs needed to reopen are extensive and costly.
The studio is seeking community support to help fund the replacement of damaged flooring, wall repairs and restoration, mold prevention and remediation, cleaning and sanitizing affected areas, and other rebuilding expenses necessary to safely reopen.
Kula Yoga has long been a source of support, healing and connection for many local residents. Community members who have attended classes, participated in workshops or benefited from the studio's presence are encouraged to support the fundraising effort.
“Every contribution helps move our studio closer to reopening and continuing its mission of serving the community,” says owner Cassie Camp. “Thank you for helping us rebuild.”
Those who are unable to donate are invited to share the fundraiser with friends, family and social networks.
Kula Yoga is located at 230 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Ste 102, Merritt Island. For more information, visit KulaYogaMerrittIsland.com or call 321-978-5116.
