Massage Professionals Gather for Continuing Education and Industry Innovation
Massage professionals, bodyworkers, spa professionals, wellness practitioners and students gather for the 2026 FSMTA Massage Convention & Trade Show, organized by the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA), July 15-18 at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs Hotel in Altamonte Springs. The annual event highlights continuing education, professional development and industry innovation while bringing together members of the massage and wellness community from across Florida and beyond.
This year's theme, "Masters of the Massage Therapy Universe," reflects the convention's focus on expanding professional knowledge and exploring evolving approaches within the field. Recognized as one of the largest massage therapy conventions and trade shows in the United States, the event offers continuing education credits while connecting attendees with nationally recognized educators and the latest therapies, products and services shaping the profession.
The four-day program includes hands-on workshops, specialty training and professional development sessions covering integrative manual therapy, Thai massage, Bowen therapy, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral techniques, orthopedic massage, trauma-informed care, biofeedback therapies, acupressure, fascial integration and medical massage. Attendees build practical skills and clinical knowledge through direct instruction from experienced educators.
The trade show features massage equipment, wellness products, therapeutic tools, professional resources and services to support client care and practice growth. Networking opportunities connect attendees with colleagues, vendors and industry leaders. Special events include a Welcome Reception, the Ian McIntosh Legislative Dinner, the FSMTA Annual Meeting and a wrap-up celebration honoring past and present Chapter and Executive Presidents.
