City of Melbourne Presents Moonlight Yoga Community Event

The City of Melbourne is pleased to invite the community to attend Moonlight Yoga on Friday, August 12 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Front Street Civic Center. Fishing Tribes of North America called August's full moon the sturgeon moon since the fish was abundant during this month. It's also been called the red moon for the reddish appearance it often takes on in the summer haze. But, for health and wellness enthusiasts, the August 12th's full moon provides a unique opportunity for Moonlight Yoga.

The event is free to attend and will feature health-related vendors, healthy food trucks, and an “any-level” Moonlight Yoga experience led by Denise starting at 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is not required but attendees pre-registered at EventBrite.com will be eligible to win prizes.

“Come on out and enjoy a unique community event while connecting with your inner-self, your friends, your family, and our nature,” says Recreation Superintendent Kurt Bienias.

For more information, call 321-608-7420. Vendors welcome: $20 plus tax, call to apply. Front Street Civic Center is located at 2205 S. Front Street, Melbourne.
