In January, Aquarian Dreams will host two teacher certification trainings. The Focused Mind: Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training with Anthony Profeta and Yin Yoga 40-hour Teacher Training with Craig Costello.

The Focused Mind begins January 8 at 10 a.m. and continues the first weekend of the month through June. This introductory, yet intensive, 100-hour program is aimed at those who wish to become more skillful in presenting mindfulness such as therapists, social workers, yoga teachers, health care professionals, educators, life coaches, and anyone seeking to integrate mindfulness meditation practices into their work. Participants will gain a more complete understanding of mindfulness meditation with a thorough exploration into Buddhist philosophy and its meditation techniques; especially its mindfulness and compassion practices.

The Going Within: Yin Yoga Training will be held over two weekends, January 21-23 and February 25-27. Participants will explore through direct experience how Yin Yoga works on the deeper levels to quiet the mind, balance the emotions and cultivate self-compassion. They will gain a solid and comprehensive foundation for teaching Yin Yoga. Various modifications and sequences to meet students where they are with any challenges that may be present will also be taught. The training will provide additional depth to experienced teachers and is also suitable for beginners with little to no experience with Yin Yoga.
