Fit Fest at Flagler Park in Stuart this October
The Friends of Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Clinic are thrilled to announce that VIM Fit Fest will be held October 23 at Flagler Park in downtown Stuart from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
VIM Fit Fest is a fun-filled wellness fair that is free to attend and will feature local businesses and organizations to showcase wellness services and activities available on the Treasure Coast. To build excitement, there will also be a virtual health-themed scavenger hunt called VIM Fit Fest Quest leading up to the event and a VIM Fit Fest 5K Color Run to kick off the event that morning.
The 5K Color Run will proceed from Flagler Park through downtown Stuart and ending back at Flagler Park. The run will be timed and organized by MTM Timing and Results and will have opportunities for serious runners and those who just want to have a good time. Registration is open for just $30 per runner until September 30 and $35 after that date.
Sponsor, vendor and volunteer opportunities are available. There is no cost to be a vendor and volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.
For more information or sign up for the run visit VIMFitFest.org or call the event coordinator, Kimberly Perron, at 772-463-4128 X211.
