She is pleased to announce monthly classes In Reiki and in The Bowen Technique held in Vero Beach at Penny’s Place, behind The Center for Spiritual Care.

 Reiki is a Spiritual practice with therapeutic benefits. It is an energy-work modality that benefits the clients on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Reiki is recognized by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) division of the National Institute of Health. They define Reiki as a “biofield” therapy. Both Usui Reiki Levels I and II are offered.

The Bowen Technique is a hands-on therapy based on acupoint theory and Shiatsu (fingerpoint pressure). “It is a very effective in treating a wide variety of ailments, such as: digestive issues, migraines, TMJ, asthma, and even colic in babies,” says Michaels. “Since it is a light touch through clothing anyone from the infant to the infirm (and animals) can receive this therapy.”
