Free Spay/Neuter For Cats

The Central Brevard Humane Society has received a $25,000 grant to fund free spays and neuters for cats owned by low-income residents of Brevard County. Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This new program was made possible through sales of the Official Florida Animal Friend's (FAF) Spay and Neuter License Plate. FAF is an organization that strives to reduce the pet overpopulation problem in the state by increasing awareness of programs that are available to pet owners and homeless animals.

Cat owners can take part in this program by completing the "Free Spay/Neuter Program Application." It’s available online at BrevardHumaneSociety.com with hard copies available at the Central Brevard Humane Society's Adoption Centers in Cocoa and Merritt Island, the Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic in Cocoa, the Molly Mutt Thrift Shops in Melbourne, Merritt Island, Palm Bay and Rockledge, and the North and South Animal Care Centers.

Completed applications with the documentation of eligibility and a copy of your valid Driver's License or State Issued Identification Card should be mailed to the Central Brevard Humane Society.
