New MELT Book Released

The MELT Method Book: A Breakthrough Self-Treatment System to Eliminate Chronic Pain, Erase the Signs of Aging, and Feel Fantastic in Just 10 Minutes a Day! published by HarperCollins was released in January.
Christine Purdy, Advanced MELT Instructor, has ongoing classes at Connectivity Movement Center and Custom Fit of Brevard in Melbourne and STAR Pilates and Christi's in Vero Beach. Intro classes at these and other locations scheduled for February and March are at a special rate.
“MELT is a self-treatment method that helps eliminate chronic pain, improve performance, and decrease the accumulated stress caused by repetitive postures and movements of everyday living,” according to Purdy and MELT proponents. It was developed by manual therapist Sue Hitzmann, who transformed neurofascial science and hands-on therapies into the treatment method called MELT.
“MELT is for anyone who wants to slow down the aging process and live better,” says Purdy. “For those who want to stay active, mobile, and independent MELT is truly for everyone. Even if you are pregnant, injured, post-surgery, overweight, sedentary, out of shape, have limited mobility, chronic pain, knee/hip replacements, or bone disorders, you can still MELT.”
