Fundraiser for Acupuncturist Without Borders
Indian River Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine is holding a fundraising benefit from 3-7 p.m., October 24, in celebration of National Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Day. The event will raise money for Acupuncturist Without Borders (AWB). AWB is a non-profit organization that travels the world providing free acupuncture to victims of natural disaster, for example, during the relief efforts after earthquakes in Haiti, hurricane Katrina and the wildfires in California.
The benefit will offer acupuncture treatments and acupuncturists will also be available to answer any questions regarding health concerns. Full-body acupuncture treatments will be offered by appointment only for $20, Auricular (ear needling) treatments and Food and Environmental Allergy Testing will both be available for walk-ins for $5 each. Refreshments will be provided.
All monies raised will be directly donated to Acupuncturist Without Borders. Call Indian River for more information or to schedule an appointment at 772-564-8383. Indian River Acupuncture, 1345 36th St, Vero Beach. For more information on AWB, see AcuWithoutBorders.org.
