Located in Satellite Beach and servicing Brevard County and the eastern Orlando area, A Reiki Heart is offering classes in both Western and Japanese Reiki. Joellen Brennan, owner, has over 15 years of experience and provides the classes. Training discounts are available for group training and individuals who participate in the training as “Reiki Buddies.”

Reiki share groups are also forming for follow-up group practice and all Reiki practitioners are invited to attend Introductory Sessions of Japanese Reiki techniques on the first Tuesday of every month at Unity Church-Melbourne. In addition, Reiki II practitioners are invited to attend Meditations on the Reiki Symbols on the third Wednesday of each month in Satellite Beach.

“Reiki energy allows muscles to relax and increase blood flow to treated areas, which in turn quickens the healing process. Practitioners and clients report help with stress, headaches, insomnia, digestion problems, sprains and other chronic physical conditions,” said Brennan, adding, “Reiki also promotes psychological healing including release of anger, fear, worry, sadness, grief, and replaces them with self-worth, confidence, and tranquility.”

According to Brennan, Reiki is simple and easy to learn, and is an excellent addition to massage therapy training, chiropractor work, acupuncture, and other energy modalities.
