Educational Series Raises Funds for Indian River Lagoon

Drs Edwards, Bunker, and Hunton are excited to announce a fundraiser contributing to the health of the Indian River Lagoon. “In keeping with giving to the community with our free educational lecture series, Health for Life–A Healthy Mouth/A Healthy Body, we have been in contact with the Marine Resource Council/Lagoon House,” says Edwards. “Since the educational health series is held at the Pow-Mia Hall at Pineda Landing on US 1 right along the Indian River, it is only fitting that we give back to the health of the Indian River Lagoon.” A raffle will be held featuring healthy items and all proceeds will be donated to the Marine Resource Council/Lagoon House. Donations will be accepted.

In this lecture series the healthy mouth-healthy life connection will be explained through a series of lectures starting Sept 19. Drs. Chris Edwards and Julia Bunker, Biologic Dentists, as well as Dr. Rebecca Hunton, specialist in Integrative Medicine, will present the series.

The lecture series is from 7-9 p.m., open to the public and is located on US 1 between the Pineda Causeway and Grills Restaurant.
