Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Stephanie Buttaccio, is excited to announce the opening of Merritt Island Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine. Buttaccio joins Dr. Cathy de Bengson, AP, PhD, OMD, of Specialized Medical, Inc. in providing the highest quality integrative medicine services to the Space Coast community.

Stephanie is relocating from Vero Beach back to the Merritt Island area. Stephanie enjoys treating patients suffering from a wide variety of health problems, such as weight loss, digestive complaints, and sleep problems and has a strong passion for working with patients with emotional issues.

Stephanie is Nationally Board Certified in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM and is a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association and American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition, she completed advanced studies in Master Tung's acupuncture for pain management, and holds certification in Acupoint Injection Therapy. Both techniques provide a unique and highly effective approach to treating all types of pain conditions. Stephanie has further training in Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), has studied auricular medicine with the renowned Dr. Lichun Huang, and interned at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, NY, to become certified in the National Acupuncture Detox Association protocol for the treatment of addictions.
