The body is an amazing system that has been pre-programmed to deal with any attack. When given the right conditions, the body’s healing power has no boundaries. By trying to live a healthier and more natural lifestyle, you are headed in the right direction.
For men, health concerns include that the rates of heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes are skyrocketing, and that incidence of prostate cancer is all too common. According to the Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer and the Genetic Determinants of Prostate Cancer: A Review, the leading cause of cancer in males is prostate cancer, and it is also the second leading cause of death related cancers.
Quite simply, the human body is an intricate jigsaw puzzle that functions optimally only when everything is in its place. This is usually not the case in most Americans, daily activity/inactivity (stress) may cause the bones to go out of alignment, and if left uncorrected, this misalignment will interrupt nerve flow to the target tissue/organs, which causes malfunctioning. A chiropractor aides in repositioning the bones so that the body can function as intended. For example, the nerves that innervate the prostate are located in the low back. It receives parasympathetic information from the sacral segments of the spinal cord (S2-4) and sympathetic information from the hypogastric presacral nerves (T10-L2). A misalignment in any of these regions limits adequate neurological exchange of information. A cancer (i.e., prostate) may develop because although the brain may be sending the body messages to heal, the message may not be getting to the prostate because the nerve is blocked then the cancer ensues.
Nutrition, exercise and chiropractic care as part of your natural health care regimen will help to deal with problems you may already be battling, but it is most important for preventative care, to maintain a healthy functioning body.
