In Helia’s classes, women of all shapes and figures (13 and older) enjoy learning new ways to move, on fascinating ageless rhythms. Join them, to experience an enhancement of self-image and an empowerment over your own life as you'll develop deeper intimate connections between your center and your environment; relax, get stronger and more flexible, with better coordination, memory and balance.

2 classes on Mondays:

4:15 to 5:15 pm and 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

$70 for 4 classes or 1 class for $20

Suggested attire: barefoot, a low waist skirt or leggings with a close fitting top (exposing the midriff is recommended but optional). A coin belt or hip scarf helps and may be purchased online at low cost.

About the teacher: Helia means “Shining Light” and suits well the Spirited Belly Dancer of the Treasure Coast. She has enchanted audiences of Costa Rica, British Columbia, and Quebec with the Grace and Joy of her Dance. Helia became a Belly Dance instructor in 2003, after being an actress and drama teacher for 15 years. Her Master level knowledge and experience of Somatic Education enhances the efficiency of her teaching. Helia cares deeply about her students and respects them equally, regardless to their abilities or looks. She currently offers classes in several location on the Treasure Coast, with the goal of promoting a state of global health.
