Sea Turtle Preservation Society Celebrates World Sea Turtle Day and Unveils Revamped Education Center

The Sea Turtle Preservation Society invites the community, media, and sea turtle enthusiasts to join us in celebrating World Sea Turtle Day. This Saturday, June 17th, from 11 am to 4 pm at 111 South Miramar Ave. Indialantic, FL.

This year, we are excited to shellebrate with you and showcase our recently modernized education center. It features stunning educational displays providing fascinating insights into sea turtle biology, migration patterns, and nesting behaviors. The revamp aims to provide visitors with a captivating and immersive learning experience, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the lives and challenges faced by our sea turtles.

A grant of over $7,000 was awarded through the Sea Turtle Grants Program, allowing us to upgrade. This program was funded through sales of the "Helping Sea Turtles Survive" license plate and managed by The Sea Turtle Conservancy.
