Creative Movement: Tai Chi and Rhythmic Dance
Together, we will ignite your creativity and self-confidence, improve your circulatory health and mind-body connection, and tap into your personal well of creative expression.

Indoors or on the Front Yard -- Rain or Shine -- 1 hour
We invite you to join our affirming community where we dance without mirrors to discover the intuitive energy within ourselves. Tai Chi has been linked to a reduction in stroke and debilitating disease, and group singing strengthens pathways in the brain to help in rehabilitation. Both activities promote "happy" and "wellness" hormones which act as the body's natural antidepressants.
Our classes combine the techniques from Tai Chi, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and rhythmic dance--which are facilitated so that movement is improvised rather than choreographed. Together, we will ignite your creativity and self-confidence, improve your circulatory health and mind-body connection, and tap into your personal well of creative expression. Separate classes are scheduled for Adults (Fridays at 1pm), Tweens and their Grown-ups (Fridays at 2:15) and Private Lessons (Fridays at 3:15).
INSTRUCTORS: Laura Parsons Swartz is a Certified QiGong-TaiChi Instructor with an MFA in Theater. Kristin Springer is a FL Certified K-12 Music Teacher with an MA in Education.
