INFO & SHARING CANCER SUPPORT GROUP: LYMPHEDEMA 💝

Alex Marston, OTR/L, CLT, of Space Coast Lymphedema Clinic, will be our guest speaker educating us on the risk of lymphedema after cancer diagnosis and treatment. She has been an occupational therapist for 6 years, and currently enjoys working in the oncology community. Alex is passionate about empowering individuals with education and taking preventative measures to manage their own individual risk.

Facilitated by a cancer survivor and social worker, we will also open up the group to find out how YOU are these days, discuss cancer-related questions and concerns, and allow you to gain support from each other.  This monthly support group is a hosted by Complementary Cancer Care, a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing compassionate and complementary non-medical services that improve total quality of life during treatment and beyond. We offer the tools to connect, support, educate, and empower cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers on their journey to healing.

• Participants have hand sanitizer available to them before and after the event. • Participants use masks and stay 6 feet apart when moving about indoors; cancer survivors who are no longer in active treatment or those who have been fully vaccinated can remove masks when 6 feet apart in good ventilation/outdoors, but those in active treatment need masks on at all times.
