Anthony Profeta, former medical student turned internationally acclaimed meditation teacher, mindfulness expert, and singing bowl specialist is offering his sound healing and singing bowl certification training, A Journey Into Sound, on Sunday, January 23 at Divine Soul Wellness from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This training will provide for a greater understanding of sound, energy, vibration, frequency and their ability to move stuck energy, decrease anxiety, and allow for deeper states of meditation. Participants will also learn the profound benefits and effects singing bowls, tuning forks, and vocal toning can have on the overall well-being of body, mind and soul.

“Sound vibrations have been proven to shift our brain waves into the calmer state of alpha and the deeply rejuvenating and relaxing state of theta,” says Profeta. “And while many ancient civilizations have used sound in healing modalities and meditation, I believe we are on the cutting edge of rediscovering sound’s power and benefit.”

This immersive event is open to participants with all levels of experience and includes extensive hands-on practice. Singing bowls will be provided for use and for sale after the event. The training tuition cost is $350.
