Mama Jo's Sunshine Herbals invites the community to its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “It is with heartfelt thanks for 26 years of herbal traditions in the community that we invite you to celebrate with us at our open house,” says Joanna Helms. Guests are invited to enjoy a day of connection, handcrafted treats, and meaningful holiday shopping.

Attendees can sample an array of handcrafted delights including herbal culinary spice creations, organic chocolates, Joanna’s Jolt Energy Balls, cheese ball mixes, and more. Guests can also raise a toast to wellness with Mama Jo’s traditional seasonal Wassail and Kava-nog. Visitors can explore a variety of unique gifts including tea blends, culinary spices, tinctures, essential oils, lotions, bath salts and scrubs, soaps, personalized gift baskets, jewelry, soy candles, Dr. Hauschka make-up, clothing, and one-of-a-kind tea pots and accessories. Live music will add to the relaxed garden atmosphere. Participants can also learn about the seven-class series Practical Herbalism for Staying Healthy through the Seasons.
