The author of “Wild Edibles for Survival and First Aid,” Susan Keiffer, will be hosting a Wild Edible Walk on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 361 Easy Street in Sebastian.

Participants will learn firsthand about local plants and their uses for food and medicine from Keiffer, who is a Master Herbalist, Iridologist and author of three books. Her other two books are “Closer to the Sun: A Recipe Book for Health for the Next Evolutionary Phase of Mankind,” and “The Diary of a Walk-In.”
