Ni’s Acupuncture Center is accepting new patients. Physicians at the center have been offering traditional Chinese medicine in Brevard County for the past 18 years. Each of the physicians is traditionally trained in acupuncture and the use of traditional Chinese herbs, which are practices and theories that have been used for more than 5,000 years.

According to the physician’s at Ni’s, symptoms in the body are early warnings that care must be taken to avoid the progression of the symptoms into a disease. With traditional Chinese medicine, each patient is treated as a whole entity, as opposed to treating a particular illness or disease. Practitioners of Chinese medicine use treatments that are intended to treat each individual symptom that affects a patient, which gets to the root of the problem and balances the body.

“Traditional Chinese medicine deals with the yin/yang aspect of the human body,” says Jonathon Lee, AP. “When yin and yang are perfectly balanced, no signs of symptoms can exist, and therefore no disease will manifest.”
