Summer Programs for Kids

Aquarian Dreams is hosting unique workshops for kids and teens in July covering reiki, yoga and art.

Children’s Yoga Class will be a journey about understanding the body-mind connection through simple practices for well-being and fitness. By exploring the breath and how it moves through the body, trying meditation techniques for calming and centering and moving energy to deal with stress, kids will learn skills they can use every day. It will be held on Tuesdays in July at 4 p.m. for ages 7-11.

Conscious Kids Class will involve a blend of yoga and art. Kids will take part in yoga poses, meditation, energy healing and inspired art projects such as crystal grids, mandalas, dreamcatchers, henna, rain sticks and more. This class for ages 6-11 will be on Fridays at 4 p.m.

The Reiki for Kids workshop will teach a simple history of Reiki and allow kids to understand the energy field and how to sense energy and use Reiki. The emphasis of the class is on experiencing reiki healing and putting words and feeling to this experience through art, movement and sound. Students will receive a Reiki I attunement. This class for ages 5-10, will be held on Sunday, July 28 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Workshops are held at Aquarian Dreams, 414 N. Miramar Ave (Hwy A1A) in Indialantic. Call 321-729-9495, email cheri@aquariandreams.com or see AquarianDreams.com to register.
