Open House at Indian River Acupuncture features Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture
Amanda Milian, AP, DOM, acupuncturist at Indian River Acupuncture & Functional Medicine in Vero, received her certification in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture from Dr Martha Lucas, PhD, founder of the Mei Zen technique. Mei Zen means “Beautiful Person”, and is a unique cosmetic treatment that renews the face and body from the inside out. “Women report a more youthful appearance as well as better sleep, increased energy, and improved mood,” says Milian. Often referred to as an “acupuncture face-lift”, results include elimination of fine lines and softening of deep wrinkles around eyes, mouth, and forehead, lifting of sagging skin especially of the neck and jowls, brightening of the complexion, reduction of age spots and noticeably firmer and smoother skin. “Cosmetic acupuncture is a safe and effective alternative to chemicals and surgery,” says Milian. “Treatments are given twice weekly for five weeks, with no downtime afterward.”
Milian, along with clinic owner, Angela King, AP, DOM, will host the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture Open House on Saturday, March 9, from 10am-12pm. Stop by to discuss your cosmetic needs and view before and after photos of happy clients.
