Dawn C. Meyer will be teaching Reiki classes in December at the New Way POD in Cocoa Village. Meyer has been studying Reiki for more than 20 years and teaching it for nearly ten years. She will provide both Reiki 1 and 2 classes that are available to anyone to learn plus licensed massage therapists can earn continuing education units for each class.

According to Meyer, “Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery and healing.”
