New Alternative Relief for Sinus Problems

Planet Butterfly USA would like to introduce the Butterfly Hug herbal sinus face mask as a unique, healing holiday gift. The Butterfly Hug is contoured to fit the face without disrupting your daily routine. The mask has been designed to be worn for headaches, sinusitis, head colds, and as an alternative to OTC and prescription medications.

Owner Joanne Miller says, "We developed this unique butterfly design because the sinus cavity is shaped like a butterfly. The mask covers all four sinus areas without covering the eyes. We call it a Butterfly Hug because it hugs your entire sinus area, providing deep, penetrating relief."

The Butterfly Hug is filled with healing herbs, including peppermint, spearmint, and eucalyptus. When heated, the herbs help open blocked sinus passages, allowing deep breathing and relaxation during the height of cold and allergy season.

Digital Scan for Postural Support Available

Dr. Kory Ann Casey is pleased to announce the addition of the Foot Levelers Associate TM Platinum to her practice. A tool that will allow her to make a digital scan of the feet, the Associate TM Platinum helps the doctor to screen for imbalances that contribute to problems in any number of places, like your knees, hips, and low back – even if your feet don’t hurt.

"Your feet are the foundation for your entire body," explains Dr. Casey. "Like any structure, your body’s foundation must be balanced to support the weight above it. If the arches in one or both of your feet collapse, your body doesn’t get the correct postural support, causing an imbalance in your skeletal frame." The Associate TM Platinum helps chiropractors develop care plans and use postural support, like custom-made orthotics to obtain positive results.

Dr. Kory Ann Casey welcomes new patients to Casey Chiropractic for postural exams to determine their chiropractic needs. "If you’ve never had your feed scanned, you probably don’t know what they are supposed to look like," suggests Dr. Casey. "Don’t wait for aches and pains to tell you there is a problem."

Dr. Kory Ann Casey is located in Melbourne. Call 321-676-5600 for more information and appointments.

Customized Nutritional Supplements Available

A customized approach to nutritional supplements used by professional and Olympic athletes for the last 20 years is now available to the general public. Owner of Quantum Health and Wellness, Kim Fisichella, says, "Everybody has their own unique needs. When it comes to nutritional supplements, the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach cannot possibly provide you with optimal nutrition because over-the-counter nutritional supplements are created for the average person."

Testing is provided by the same laboratory and formulary used by professional athletes and the elite across the country. Kim believes it is important to take control of your most precious asset, your body and the longer one waits to address health problems, the more serious they can become. Kim is also a Certified Biofeedback Specialist and has 30 years experience in the holistic health field.

Intuitive Workshops and Consultations

Lisa Zimmer Mahoney is now offering intuitive consultations, life coaching, and assistance with developing guided imagery visualizations. Having worked for the last 26 years with law enforcement, local governments, physicians, attorneys, judges, celebrities, college administrators, school boards, and county commissioners, Lisa is now bringing insight and specific information in all areas of concern to the general public.

"We are taught that we are born with five senses, but life has proved to me that we are instead born with six, the sixth being our intuition," explains Lisa. Everyone is born with an innate sense of knowing that comes from the soul of our being. We can amaze ourselves for knowing who is on the other end of a ringing telephone, or if someone is in need you may have that person pop into your mind – that is intuition at work."

Lisa is a published writer and columnist, has developed a body-mind-spirit television show, and has worked with Dr. Bernie Siegel, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and other pioneers in the field. She works with all situations with accuracy and compassion.

Smile Design Center Magnifies Treatment with Microscope

Smile Design Center announces the addition of a Global Surgical Operating Microscope. The microscope enables treatment to be performed at higher magnification in a more precise manner. Dr. Edwards selects the appropriate magnification for the procedure being performed and he can easily change magnification as needed.

Dr. Edwards has been using surgical telescopes for 10 years and finds a quantum improvement with the surgical microscope. "With up to 20 times magnification and superior lighting, the ability to see the minutest detail is phenomenal," explains Dr. Edwards. "The microscope is particularly beneficial with the Waterlase MD laser where the action of the laser can be clearly seen." The Waterlase MD uses the application of light and water to remove diseased or damaged tooth, gum or bone, molecule by molecule. "Many times there is no need for anesthesia as there is virtually no postoperative pain," offers Dr. Edwards.

There is also a connection to the microscope for a digital camera or digital video recorder so that the image being seen can be recorded for documentation and educational purposes. In the near future live video feed will enable an interested patient to actually watch their procedures being performed.

Smile Design Center is located in Viera, for more information visit www.smiledesigncenter.us or call 321-751-7775.
