Therapist Completes Medical Intuitive Training
Sandy Rice, Licensed Massage Therapist of Tranquil Oak Therapies recently completed Medical Intuitive Training, Level I. These classes were developed by medical intuitive Kim Seer, a born intuitive with the ability to see into the physical body, seeing blood flow, nerve conduction and areas that are not normal as well as those that are. In the Level I class, Sandy learned how to read into the body, scan organs to find how well they are functioning, and use Quantum Healing to clear the lymph system, Eustachian tubes, and sinuses. She also was taught tools to help clear intuitive blocks, for manifesting, as well as to discover underlying causation of physical problems.
“I am very excited to develop this valuable ability, seeing it as a further enhancement in my role in assisting people in achieving and maintaining healthy lives,” says Sandy.

Zen Meditation Center Moves to New Location
In an effort to better serve the community, the only full time Zen Center in Central Florida has moved 3 doors west of its former location. Open Mind Zen Meditation Center is now located at 878 Sarno Road, Melbourne, FL. Zen Center Director Al Rapaport has over 35 years of experience, and is one of the few lay Zen Masters in the U.S. “We have also expanded the meditation times to include morning sessions,” says Al.

Free Yoga Workshop at Kashi
On Saturday, November 12th, the Kashi School of Yoga will be offering a free, half- day yoga workshop. Attendees will be introduced to Kali Natha Yoga, a unique form of yoga developed by world-renowned spiritual teacher, Ma Jaya. Its graceful and fluid style reaches back to the ancient roots of yoga to create an awakening of shakti (divine spiritual energy) within the seeker. This yogic practice will help to bring a deeper awareness of self and enhance one’s own personal spiritual journey.
During the workshop, participants will learn asana series, pranayama (breath work) and meditation practices. This type of yoga is for everyone, from beginners to the most advanced yogi. People are encouraged to go at their own pace and to modify poses whenever needed.
Participants are also invited to have vegetarian dinner at 5pm, followed by Darshan (an interfaith service and meditation) led by Ma Jaya at 6pm. Pilates Studio Moves to New Melbourne Beach Location
Melbourne Beach’s first Pilates studio, Ab Fab Pilates, has just moved to a new, bigger and brighter location at 111 Fifth Avenue (above Islands Fish Grill), in the heart of Indialantic. “With 1,000 square feet of airy space and wooden floors we can now offer what our clients have been begging for – mat classes on demand in addition to one-on-one sessions with Pilates equipment,” says owner and certified instructor Jayne McAllister.
Ms McAllister has been practicing authentic Pilates since 1998, holds four certifications, and has over 1,000 hours of formal training. Jayne is joined by well-known Melbourne Beach instructor Diane Nelson, who will bring her popular yoga classes to Ab Fab, in addition to teaching Pilates mat classes.
Ab Fab is also offering duets on the Pilates apparatus. An affordable alternative to private sessions, duets allow two people to work out under the supervision of an instructor and enjoy the full range of Pilates equipment.

Authentic Taoist Chi Gung at Aquarian Dreams
Lauritz Kjerulff, a senior student of Grand Master Share K. Lew, will be teaching Cloud Hands, the beginning set of the Tao Ahn Pai or Taoist Elixir Style Nui Gung (Chi Gung) System. Lauritz has been practicing the exercises of Master Lew’s temple system for 30 years and teaching Nui Gung and Tai Chi for 20 years. This system of exercises dates back over 1300 years to Lui Dung Bin who was born during the Tang Dynasty in China and became one of the Eight Immortals of Taoism.
The Cloud Hands builds the foundation for both health and further Nui Gung training. It consists of five relatively non-strenuous movements and a quiet seated meditation. These traditional Taoist exercises help the body maintain good health and increase vitality. “The time required for practice will fit into anyone’s schedule,” says Lauritz.
The Cloud Hands class will meet six times on Monday nights from 6:45 to 7:45pm beginning November 7 at Aquarian Dreams.
