Health Connections Celebrates 20 Years
Candice Klein, DBA Health Connections, is celebrating 20 years of service in Brevard by offering colon cleansings at reduced rates. Candice explains, "More than 70 million Americans struggle with digestive problems. Constipation, digestive distress, and mucous in the stool are just a few signs that your colon may not be completely healthy." Candice believes the standard American diet lacks fermented foods, fiber, adequate hydration, and exercise which may lead to a build up of waste material on the intestinal walls. This creates an environment where toxic pathogens can thrive, leading to a slow onset of illness and disease. A healthy colon provides clear skin, effortless and regular eliminations, mild smelling breath, no bloating, and no mucous or partially digested food in the stool.
Candice is licensed by the state of Florida and Nationally Certified by I-ACT. She is a Body Ecology Coach, teaches classes on fermenting food, and provides information on diet and lifestyle changes.

Photographer Offers Color Advice
Color in the environment can impact our health, state of mind, and sense of well being. It can also influence whether the camera loves the subject in photos. "Wearing your complimentary colors is the key to an amazing photographic portrait," says photoartist Ella Chabot-Remington, owner of Shot By Ella Photoart, LLC in Sebastian.
When Ella sees a client for the first time, she scans colors in her mind and computes which colors will enhance the individual's natural skin tones, hair, and eye coloring. As a photographer and artist, she has developed a keen awareness of shades and hues of color. Each individual possesses one of a kind, subtle natural colors. Just as artists use a color wheel to select the most complementary paints for their canvas, Ella advises her clients to wear clothing and accessories that flatter and harmonize with their unique blend of natural color. "I request clients bring outfits in several colors, especially their favorite colors or shades that have earned them compliments from others," remarks Ella. "When I hold fabrics up next to a client, I see the colors interplaying between the person and the garments and thus, determine which outfits will create the best shots."

Chemical-free Oriental Rug Cleaning Available
Natural fiber Oriental rugs are textile floor coverings that are hand-woven or machine-made consisting of cotton, wool, silk and jute with or without a pile surface. Wool has natural soil hiding properties and some rugs can hold up to two pounds of soil per square foot before beginning to look dirty.
The preferred system for cleaning natural area rugs is to remove them from the home or business and clean them in a controlled "in-plant" environment, where careful inspection and testing can be performed before cleaning. Armstrong’s rug cleaning plant is designed with a pit cleaning system to thoroughly flush and rinse soils and biological contaminants out of your rugs for a fresh, chemical-free cleaning. When necessary, on location cleaning may be performed.
Phil and Desiree Colaiacomo, owners of Armstrong’s both hold IICRC Master Textile and Oriental Rug Cleaning Certifications. They are experts at cleaning and trouble shooting problem rugs and have been in business servicing Brevard and Indian River counties since 1990.
