3rd Generation Acupuncturist in Palm Bay

Dr. Hsiu S. Chin is a third generation acupuncture doctor who came to the U.S. in 1987 with the dream of bringing classical Chinese medicine to the American people. She began her medical training at a young age when her father gave her lessons after school and during the holidays. What Dr. Chen remembers most is that after World War II her father gave prescriptions and treatments to people without charge. Under his tutelage the young Dr. Chen was exposed to a large variety of "prescriptions and herbals." At home is where she obtained her love for medicine and decided to follow in the footsteps of her father and grandmother. Dr. Chen’s recent development, Emily Herbal Formula, focuses on kidney disease related issues. By combining east and west Dr. Chen is able to assist patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
