Simpler living results in "more time, personal freedom, reduced stress, a slower pace of life, control of money, less stuff to maintain, fulfilling work, passion and purpose in life, joyful relationships, deeper spirituality, better health and a connection with nature." Wow, who wouldn’t want all that? In our article Living Simply, author Diane Eglin explains that in our culture "work hard, play hard" is the motto and we tend to fill every moment with activity. Incorporating simplicity into our lives can be a complete life makeover. Eglin recommends gradual small steps as most people need a transition period. After reading all the fabulous tips on page 46, I’m ready to dive right in! Less stuff, more time – sounds like stress-free, blissful living to me.
