Salt Therapy Room Opening in Port St Lucie

Laura Barnes, owner of Southern Salt Therapies, is excited to announce the opening of her state-of-the-art facility in September. Southern Salt Therapies will house top-of-the-line salt generators and 11,000 pounds of pure pink Himalayan salt. “Himalayan salt contains 84 elements and trace elements found in the human body,” says Barnes. “Salt ions purify the air, increase lung capacity and reduce physical ailments making it a great option for athletes and to stay healthy during flu or allergy seasons.”

“Inhaling particles can reduce inflammation and mucus in the lungs, improving respiratory conditions such as asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinus congestion and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD),” says Barnes. “Skin conditions such as psoriasis, rashes, eczema, and acne also benefit. Pure mineral salts have natural moisturizing properties and support the skin’s water balance by attracting moisture to the skin.”

Children, family and adult-only salt rooms are available and packages allow for unlimited monthly visits. “We are planning to offer massage so you can recharge with two treatments in one,” says Barnes.

Southern Salt Therapies will be located at 540 NW University Blvd., Suite 107 in Port Saint Lucie. For more information, call 772-877-2128 or visit SouthernSaltTherapies.com. Sessions and packages can be booked online. Special: buy your 1st salt session, and get your 2nd one free.
