Melbourne Integrative Psychology Offering EFT for Trauma, Anxiety

Laurie Donaldson, Ph.D., is now offering comprehensive energy psychology to her patients at Melbourne Integrative Psychology  Energy psychology is a family of psychological healing practices using a mind-body approach. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a process that involves tapping on the body, is the most common of these practices and is sometimes called “acupuncture without needles.”

EFT tapping draws on ancient practices in Oriental medicine involving meridians, chakras and electromagnetic activity of the body and combines this with contemporary neuroscience and cognitive interventions. It involves stimulating various electromagnetically sensitive points on the skin while bringing a psychological problem or goal to mind, and pairing this with affirmations relating to the issues.  EFT can be used to treat any psychological problem, but is particularly effective in the treatment of trauma, anxiety and phobias. Relief of symptoms is accomplished quickly and positive outcomes are sustained over time.

“I founded Melbourne Integrative Psychology in 2016 with the goal of combining traditional psychological theory and practice with new developments in energy psychology, mindfulness and neuroscience,” states Donaldson.

Melbourne Integrative Psychology is located at 3270 Suntree Blvd, Ste 1135, Melbourne. For more information, visit MelbourneIntegrativePsych.com or call 321-757-4058.
